The demand on fitness will also be fuelled by the rising income levels, which will in turn allow fitness industry players to expand. The Global fitness industry will continue to record steady growth as demand for a wide range of fitness solutions grows due to health awareness and government programs to promote healthy living.

According to the researched given, a steady growth in gym openings and revenue increases, the gym and fitness centres industry has expanded strongly over the past decade worldwide, particularly in the five years through 2012 – 2013. The main drive for this are mainly rising disposable income levels, increasing health-consciousness and concern about personal appearance which around the world especially in Brunei Darussalam are currently facing.
